All days are not sundays dear Puri Jagannadh. Yes, he is the director who has suffered the pressure from Nandamuri tiger Jr.NTR. We all know that, usually Puri Jagannadh writes his own stories and directs, but it is for the first time he is likely to direct a film written by a different writer. Interesting isn’t it? Here is the story read on.
It looks like, a series of flops, have dented the image of director Puri Jagannath since for the first time he is going to direct a film, where the story is written by someone else. Even though his last release Heart Attack was a average grosser, but jr NTR was unwilling to take chances with Puri’s storylines (since director was carrying the baggage of duds like “Nenu Naa Rakshasi, Devudu Chesina Manushulu)
Apparently, Nandamuri star reportedly put pressure on Puri to take up a ‘story’ of writer Vankantham Vamsi which he felt was much better and safer too. At last, Puri succumbed to the pressure of mighty NTR and agreed to do a film with another writer. Agreed that “Andhrawala” was a crap, but Puri had delivered a many hits like “Idiot”, “Pokiri”, “Desamuduru” and “Businessman”, so was NTR fair enough, to overlook the Puri’s writing skills or was it a wise decision for both the actor and director?
Finally NTR could break the Puri’s sentiment of writing his own subjects and made him direct other’s story for the first time . It is interesting to watch, how could Puri cope up with that subject and narrates it on screen.
