Fast and Furious 7 is doing phenomenal business all over the world and in India the film is just unstoppable. Our homegrown films are being impacted by the FF7 wave which seems to be too strong. Byomkesh Bakshy in Hindi and Komban, Nannbenda in Tamil have been putting up with a really strong fight from FF7. The sentiments surrounding the late Paul Walker have added to the mania, in addition to the star cast and the stunning action moves.
After the first 2 days, the film has apparently grossed 32.75 crores in India from all its language versions. The net works to around 24.30 crores and the film looks to be in line to become the first Hollywood film to net 100 crores from its Indian run. This is something which even an Avatar couldn’t do in India.
The figures are just mind-blowing and we have to see how far the film can go and for how many more days it can sustain this opening buzz.
