Dhanush is busy wrapping up his film Utthamaputthiran, for which the actor is teaming up with Mithran R. Jawahar for the third time. The movie, a remake of the Tollywood hit Ready, has Genelia playing opposite Dhanush.

An action scene, said to be one of the highlights of the film, was recently canned on the lead pair and comedians Srinath and Aarthi in Tirunelveli and Manimangalam near Chennai for 10 days. “The villains chase Dhanush and Genelia while they chat with their friends Srinath and Aarthi. It’s not a typical action chase scene, the kind you normally see in a Tamil film. The foursome’s escape from the baddies’ clutches is narrated with loads of fun, action, and slapstick comedy,” claims the director.

Rough Rajshekar, a former assistant to Rambo Rajkumar, choreographed the fast- paced action scene.

Balasubramaniam shot the scenes and Vijay Antony provided the music. Projected as a family entertainer, the movie will hit cinema halls soon.

he Kannada block buster ‘Moggina Manasu’ that won 5 Film Fare awards, is now being remade in Telugu as ‘Lokhame Kothaga’ with Shivaji and Aditi Agarwal. The film is being directed by Bharat Parepalli and produced by Neelam Shankar under Neha Media Pvt Ltd., banner. There are altogether 10 songs in the film for which the tunes are composed by Lalith Suresh. The audio launch is taking place on September 10th through Aditya Music Company.
‘Lokhame Kothaga’ completed its shooting part and currently in post production works. According to producer Neelam Shankar, three songs were shot at Bangkok, two in Karnataka and the remaining five in locations like Jogpal, Ramoji Film City and Dolaridhani. The film is planned for October release.

Sana Khan, who is the leading lady of Kalyan Ram’s film has so far acted in only two Tamil films but even before this film is complete she has signed two other films in Telugu. The shooting of ‘Kathi’ is almost concluding. Being directed by Mallikarjun (who earlier directed Kalyan Ram in Abhimanyu), ‘Kathi’ is produced under NTR Arts banner.

TR’s ‘Brindavanam’ being directed by Vamsi Paidipalli under Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations banner  has reached the finishing stage. Kajal Agarwal and Samantha are the Heriones for this prestigeous film.
In the press meet at his production office, Dil Raju said, “The shooting is almost done. A song shoot is currently taking place at Switzerland in which NTR, Kajal and Samantha are participating. We are portraying NTR in a different angle in ‘Brindavanam’. There are altogether 36 artists in this film. We are planning to release the audio on September 12th and the film on October 1st. ‘Brindavanam’ is like a complete feast. So we are very confident about ‘Bridavanam’ so much that it will certainly become the No. 1 film in 2010.”

Emaindi Ee Vela’ is the title for Varun Sandesh and Nisha Agarwal (Kajal Agarwal) starrer new film. The film has reached the final stage of shooting. With the completion of songs’ shoot the unit will wind up the entire shooting part. Directed by Sampath Nandi and produced by K K Radha Mohan, this youthful love film has music by Chakri.

Nikhil, a powerful youth entertainer who started his carrier with Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Happy Days’ is coming up with yet another youthful entertainer ‘Aalasyam Amrutham’. This film is currently being shot at Araku under the direction of Chandra Mahesh. Madalasa is playing the leading lady. Some important scenes involving the lead pair along with Dharmavarapu and some Jr artists, is being filmed at Araku. D Ramanaidu is producing this flick under Suresh Productions banner. According to him this schedule at Araku will continue till September 14 which will be followed by the next at Vizag. Koti is composing the tunes. Three songs were recorded so far of which one song has already been picturised.

‘Mahesh Khaleja’ shooting is a mass shooting that is taking place for the past 2 years. The shooting has reached the final stage and the new development is that the last song of the film is currently being shot at Annapurna studios and the same song will also be shot in Ramoji Film City with which the entire shooting will be wrapped up. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas and jointly produced by Singanamala Ramesh and C Kalyan, this Mahesh Babu-Anushka starrer is set to release on September 30th, says the Film Nagar sources. However, the audio launch is most likely to take place in the 3rd week of September. Musical scores are being rendered by Mani Sharma.

The creator and Director of Ghajini, AR Murugadoss is now set to create yet another sensation. Yes! The director is turning producer to make a new Tamil film on his banner AR Murugadoss Productions. He is going to introduce his long time assistant Saravanan as director through this film. The cast and crew are yet to be selected. But what is more interesting in this project is Fox Star Studios India has joined hands with AR Murugadoss by signing an exclusive deal with AR Murugadoss to enter into Tamil film industry.

Parama veera chakra starring Nandamur Balakrishna steadily progressing in Hyderabad. This song showcases the greatness of Komaram Bheem. Balakrishna is playing the dual role, one of them being army officer, therefore some part of the film will be shot in Himalayas also. His other role is himself, i.e., an actor.
